World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
The upgrade of your items is a crucial element of equipping your character. Upgrades boost damage to items and the ability to enchant.
They also offer bonuses and improvements. They are available by contacting the Blacksmith.
The upgrade button is located on any item. Each item recycled adds a level to the gauge for upgrading.
Weapons
If a weapon is upgraded, it receives a base damage bonus and a scaling factor which affects other stats. The weapon may also be upgraded with a number of upgrade components that provide additional attributes or effects, and some have unique cosmetic effects. These upgrades can be added to weapons, armors trinkets, gathering tools and trinkets. They generally require that the equipment has an upgrade slot available and meet certain requirements. The upgrade component can be removed from a weapon, armor or trinket, but it is not replaced. (Except for legendary equipment). Upgrade components can be recovered using a Black Lion Salvage Kit or an Ascended Salvage Tool, or using a high-end salvage tool on the item it self.
In addition to the standard upgrades, a weapon can be upgraded using an attribute called Calibration that increases certain stats such as Weakspot Damage or Crit Rate. This can be done through the Gear Workbench's interaction menu. Based on the level of the weapon it can be done up to four times.
When the weapon reaches its maximum upgrade it can be modified to give different effects and bonuses or to boost specific stats. Many of these upgrades can be applied simultaneously, and the effects vary depending on the nature of the weapon.
Two Blacksmiths can perform these upgrades in the game: Blacksmith Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace and Smithing Master Hewg at the Church of Elleh hub. Both require different upgrade materials: Smithing Stones for standard weapons and Somber Smithing Stones to alter the damage that a weapon inflicts.
Generally, it is advised to improve weapon damage first, then armour defense, and then the other secondary stats that are required by your build. In particular, it is common to see melee druids upgrading their weapon before they upgrade any other gear, since this will increase DPS. This is particularly applicable to enchantments, which are extremely effective in boosting the damage of a weapon and other stats.
Armor
Item Upgrades let players enhance the performance of specific weapons, armors trinkets and gathering tools. These upgrades can also give additional effects, like additional damage or cosmetic enhancement. Item Upgrades are available by crafting, purchasing from NPC vendors, through loot drops, or as quest rewards.
Armor can be improved by visiting the Armorer NPC, and spending the appropriate currency. In the majority of cases, a piece of armor can be upgraded to the next tier once an upgrade is applied. This can be done for most types of armor, however certain types of armor cannot be upgraded at all (such as the armor that is used as a starter in Great Sky Island).
Most armor upgrades offer only a slight increase in an item's defense base or strength. However, certain upgrade components can provide significant increases to strength or defense, particularly when upgrading an item that is epic.
In addition to enhancing the defense base of an item, a few upgrades also provide special abilities that can be activated while wearing a piece of armor. These abilities can be beneficial in combat, for instance providing a boost to attack speed or blocking. Certain upgrades provide passive effects that can be beneficial for example, the ability to reduce damage while wearing armor or increasing the chance of avoiding an attack.
Depending on the type of armor, upgrading an item can require multiple attempts. For instance, if a player wanted to upgrade an existing Steelclash armor to Dragonscale the first attempt will result in a brand new piece of Dragonscale with an initial defense range of the ages of 59-67. The second attempt would result in a new Dragonscale armor that has the base defense between 67 and 77, and it goes on.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild allows players to upgrade their armor sets up to level 4. To do upgrade item must visit the four Great Fairy Fountains located in the game. Each of these locations holds an incredibly powerful fairy who can upgrade a piece of armor for the player.

Potion
When you put a potion into a brewing stand, you can unlock new effects. The upgrade opens a different level of effects from the potion and is able to be repeated to increase the potency.
The potions also have a custom color, which can be chosen by the player using /give. The color will affect the area-of-effect clouds as well as the arrows that are generated. In Bedrock Edition, the custom color of the potion also affects the effects of the particles in the potions.
The water bottle, common and thick potions as well as awkward potions, now have a different brewing texture. Add potion of weakness and healing potion in the Creative inventory. Trinket
A trinket can be described as a small ornament that is inexpensive or a piece of jewelry. This can be a necklace, ring or even a small flag to mark a boat's yard that is lateen. It could also be a reference to a gilded trinket on the mast of a ship.

Skull Cavern is where you will find Trinkets after completing the Mastery Cave. You can find them by defeating Monsters and chests and crates. They can't be found in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.
If you find a trinket that needs to be upgraded put it in the Anvil to do so. This will affect the trinket that is random that will either enhance or intensify its effects. You can reforge the Trinket as many times as you want, but it will always have an effect that is new.
You can upgrade your Trinkets in the Alchemy Station by placing them into a Magical Catalyst. This will cost you 6 energy and increase the trinket's power by only a tiny amount.
